Location & How to Get Here
UW Youth & Teen Programs in-person classes are held on the University of Washington Seattle campus. We encourage you to review the transportation and parking information below.
UW Seattle
UW Seattle is located in northeast Seattle, on a spacious, tree-studded campus situated between I-5 and Lake Washington.
Transportation Options
UW Youth & Teen families attending in-person classes at UW Seattle have several options for getting to campus. Here are some details that may help you plan your trip.
Short-Term Parking for UW Youth & Teen Families
Parking on the UW Seattle campus is never free. However, we have made arrangements with UW Transportation Services to allow UW Youth & Teen families to park briefly on campus to drop off and pick up students.
A short-term parking permit is required, and parking is allowed only in assigned areas and on dates and times shown. About seven to 10 days before your program begins, you’ll receive your welcome emails, including additional information about our online parking permits.
Transit
We encourage you to carpool, bike or take public transit to campus, if possible. The campus is served by numerous regular bus routes from surrounding areas.
Two light rail stations provide fast, easy access from across the region — you'll find the University of Washington station next to Husky Stadium and the U District station just a few blocks from the west side of campus.
