High School Entrepreneurship: Startup Lab
Are you ready to take your big ideas to the next level? In Startup Lab, you’ll learn real-world business skills as you dive into the world of entrepreneurship. You’ll work in teams, create a plan to launch a project, and showcase your innovative solutions in a final “pitch” presentation for your startup.
What You’ll Learn
- How to think like an entrepreneur to analyze challenges and create solutions
- Advanced ways to develop ideas and plan projects
- Basics of budgeting, marketing and making a business pitch
- Team collaboration and leadership skills
Who Should Register
This course is for incoming ninth to 12th graders who have a passion for creating and launching projects.
More Information
This in-person course is taught on the UW Seattle campus. You’ll need regular access to a laptop. If you can’t bring one, we have a limited number of laptops for students with demonstrated need. You’ll have the opportunity to request one during registration.
There’s a nonrefundable $50 registration fee each quarter you register.
