Mechanics of Writing Workshop
Strong writing skills are a prerequisite for success in high school, college and beyond. In this course, you’ll strengthen your writing skills and master topics like grammar, sentence and paragraph structure, and narrative organization. Come away with some new skills to include in your writer’s toolkit.

Who Should Register
This course is for sixth to eighth graders. It’s not a creative writing course, and it’s not for those who need remedial writing help. All students should have a high level of English language proficiency.

This online course is taught using Canvas and Google Sites. Classes meet in real time and are not recorded. To participate, you should have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a headset and webcam.
