Nature Watercolors

Grow your artistic toolbox and harness your inner Bob Ross while exploring different watercolor techniques and special effects. Learn from live interactive demonstrations and feedback on how to render beautiful and dynamic nature scenes in watercolor. Paint and draw small landscapes and nature vignettes of galaxies, sunsets, beaches, mountains and — yes — happy, little trees.

Who Should Register 

This course is for incoming ninth to 12th graders who have an interest in art, nature or wildlife and who want to further their artistic knowledge and skills.

More Information

This remote course is taught via Canvas and/or Zoom video conferencing. Classes meet in real time and are not recorded. Activities are held both synchronously and asynchronously. To participate, you should have access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection and a headset and webcam. You’ll receive some tools and components in the mail before the course starts. We’ll send a list of any additional supplies that you may need to purchase prior to the start of the course.
