Welcome to Ancient Rome! Latin Fundamentals

Travel back in time to ancient Rome and immerse yourself in Roman culture by studying the fundamentals of Latin grammar, syntax and language. You’ll learn how everyday Romans used Latin and how it influenced their thoughts, culture and writings. We’ll approach Latin as a literary language from many viewpoints: social, religious, mythological, political, philosophical and artistic. You’ll gain a strong foundation in the Latin language, as well as the art and culture of ancient Rome. We’ll finish our tour of Rome with a showcase of the mosaics we’ll make together, along with a performance of a Roman comedy.
